New agentic features include integration with Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, individual Cloud Run instances for long-running background agents, and ephemeral sandboxes for safe code execution. Additional updates include SSH access to running containers, service bindings for microservices communication, ephemeral disk storage, and upcoming billing caps. Cloud Run's active developer base doubled last year.
