Google Cloud announced several new Cloud Run features at Next '26. Key highlights include full-stack app building in Google AI Studio with one-click deployment to Cloud Run, a fully managed remote MCP server for developer and agent deployments (now GA), and support for NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs enabling 70B+ parameter model serving with scale-to-zero. New agentic features include integration with Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, individual Cloud Run instances for long-running background agents, and ephemeral sandboxes for safe code execution. Additional updates include SSH access to running containers, service bindings for microservices communication, ephemeral disk storage, and upcoming billing caps. Cloud Run's active developer base doubled last year.
