Founders and executives from Browserbase, Mastra, Fireworks AI, Drata, and others shared insights at Camp AI's 'Agents at Work' event on how engineering teams are restructuring around AI agents. Key themes included smaller teams handling larger scopes via AI agents, code review becoming the new bottleneck as AI generates PRs faster than humans can review them, the importance of developer ownership of AI-generated code, auditability and observability for autonomous agents, and MCP authentication security. Infrastructure — not model quality — was identified as the primary limiter of AI capabilities in production.
