<p>I’m missing some other mentions of common environment variables and configuration anti patterns in Node.js applications such as:</p>
<ul>
<li>relying on NODE_ENV</li>
<li>declaring and basing on different environments (staging, development, preview)</li>
</ul>
<p>and generally relying on environment variables directly in code, such as <code>process.env.EXPO_DEBUG</code> is going to lead to unmaintainable code.</p>
