What Elden Ring Has Taught Me About Hard Things

Elden Ring is actually the first Soulslike, where putting constraints on your gameplay is actually a hidden trick to really try a lot of mechanics and equipment.
Level 1 run without upgrading anything (weapons, spirits etc.) was really fun and creative experience for me until final boss in the base game and mid DLC (I even figured out how to reliably do entire first phase of Malenia with just a pintch of caution). Also I wanted to farm possibly every piece of equipment in the game, so figuring out how to dispose certain enemies fast, run back to grace, rinse and repeat was also kinda fun (at least for the first 10 times).
I recommend everyone to try it. You have to put your equipment to the absolute limits, find any dirty solution in the book, experiment and take unusual paths around the map to get what you need fast. Even spirits that I never used was interesting - they are incredibly weak in their basic form, but sometimes their specific feat does the trick.
