GitHub experienced an outage last Thursday affecting Pull Requests and Actions, leading many developers to seek alternative ways to manage their workflows until services were restored.

What did you do when GitHub was down last week?

Overwrote the entire codebase using Filezilla.

I guess it was only American servers? I live between Europe and Asia and I didn’t notice anything. Website working, GIT working.

You mean a remote system, owned and operated by an “evil empire” third party “went down” and your dev and production work flows were negatively impacted? Well, well planned system architects!
