AMD has released FSR SDK 2.2, the first major update since the December 2025 FSR 'Redstone' launch. The update delivers two key improvements: FSR Upscaling 4.1 with enhanced image quality especially in motion, improved ultra-performance and dynamic resolution scaling modes; and FSR Ray Regeneration 1.1 with quality and memory improvements plus debug view modes. Both ML-powered features require AMD RDNA 4 architecture GPUs (Radeon RX 9000 Series), while analytical fallback modes (FSR 3) remain available for older hardware. The SDK supports a single implementation across handhelds, consoles, and PCs. Binaries and limited source are available on GitHub.
