Salvatore Sanfilippo, also known as 'antirez', creator of Redis, has returned to the Redis community as an evangelist after taking a break to focus on family and other projects. During his time away, he engaged in various coding and writing activities but felt a growing desire to reconnect with the tech world. Sanfilippo aims to reshape Redis's community engagement and contribute to new developments, including vector search capabilities for AI applications. He supports the new Redis license, which he believes balances company interests and community needs.
