Shopify webhook subscriptions now support an optional name field (up to 50 characters) for easier identification and management. Names are included in request headers for routing without parsing payloads, and must be unique per shop for Admin API subscriptions or per app for declarative subscriptions. The feature works with both TOML-based configurations and GraphQL Admin API mutations starting in version 2026-04.
