Each was run on the same 3-page freelance agreement with editable areas like dates, payment terms, and scope of work. Adobe Acrobat did it all, but it seemed cumbersome for a quick tweak.
Smallpdf and Sejda were fine for ad-hoc changes, but created formatting problems. I Love PDF 2, made clean edits, preserved layout integrity, and ran the file in seconds, securing its number one for all-around performance.
The Bottom Line
Modifying PDF contracts need not become a contest between time and technology.
