Microsoft is restructuring the Windows Insider Program by replacing the existing Dev, Beta, and Canary channels with new 'Experimental' and 'Beta' channels. The transition begins today with Dev Channel users moving to Experimental, followed by Canary and Beta channel users in the coming weeks. Insiders can manually enable the new Experimental UI via Feature flags in Settings before the automatic rollout. Beta Channel users may notice minor feature changes after transition and are advised to move to Dev/Experimental beforehand for best continuity. Release notes are also moving to the Windows Insider Program Documentation Hub for improved navigation, dark/light mode, localization, and deep linking.
