Waymo is finalizing a $16 billion funding round that values the robotaxi company at $110 billion. Alphabet will contribute over three-quarters of the funding, with new investors including Dragoneer, Sequoia Capital, and DST Global. The company has completed over 20 million trips and recently launched service in Miami, though it has faced operational challenges including robotaxis stalling during a San Francisco blackout. Waymo previously raised $5.6 billion in 2024 at a $45 billion valuation and now has over $350 million in annual recurring revenue.
