The Khronos Group has released the Vulkan SC SDK (v1.0.21), a unified installer for Linux and Windows that bundles all tools needed for Vulkan Safety-Critical application development. Developed over three years by RasterGrid with Vulkan SC Working Group support, the SDK includes the Vulkan SC Loader, Emulation driver stack, Validation Layers, Device Simulation Layer, pipeline cache utilities, a sample application, and CMake integration. The goal is to reduce setup friction by replacing manual downloads and configuration with a single cohesive toolchain.
