Evan You is the type of superstar the dev world needs. While it might seem like hes trying to one up the competition, honestly I think he just wants what’s best for the dev world. He started making vite because of how slow webpack was, not as some passive aggressive dig at reacts build times, vue suffered too.
We need more people like Evan You &amp; Harminder Virk (AdonisJS). No nonsense leaders making developers life easier in a insanely complex ecosystem.

As a beginner, I personally had a better experience starting a react app using Vite than CRA. It was much lighter and also faster to get things going.
