Visual Studio Code on the Raspberry Pi (with 32 and 64-bit OS)

Microsoft now officially releases Visual Studio Code for both 32-bit and 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS. The post walks through downloading and installing the appropriate .deb package for each architecture (armhf for 32-bit, arm64 for 64-bit) and demonstrates setting up Java development with the Java Extension Pack, Maven, and BellSoft JDK with JavaFX on the board.
