Meesho partnered with Google Cloud Consulting to develop a Virtual Try On solution for sarees, aiming to reduce the cost and time of cataloging apparel. The technology uses 2D and 3D image processing, including TPS warping, pleat enhancement, and background editing. Vertex AI Imagen is employed for background enhancement and resolution upscaling. This collaboration improves user experience and productivity by enabling virtual draping of sarees on models.
