Veris AI raised $8.5 million to build a training platform for AI agents that uses high-fidelity simulations to help agents practice real-world scenarios before production deployment. The platform creates mock environments where agents can learn through reinforcement learning, fine-tuning, and synthetic data generation. Unlike general foundation models, agents trained on Veris become highly specialized for specific tasks, often outperforming larger proprietary models in their domain while maintaining privacy through local deployment.
