Valve might replace some internal customer support with AI

Valve is reportedly developing an internal AI chatbot called SteamGPT to handle customer support tickets and assist with anti-cheat oversight for Counter-Strike 2. Leaked files reveal SteamGPT can access Steam account details such as trust scores, confidence scores, and account age, and may influence ban decisions. Currently used only internally, it could expand to more games or even a public-facing role in the future. This marks Valve's first notable use of AI.
