Cage is a Wayland compositor designed for kiosks that launches a single application fullscreen and exits when that application closes. By combining Cage with the new RDP backend in wlroots and FreeRDP, you can create a seamless remote desktop session: run sway on a desktop machine with the RDP backend enabled, then use Cage on a laptop to launch xfreerdp fullscreen, effectively mirroring the desktop environment on the laptop with all input forwarded remotely.
