<p>Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of an e-reader? E-ink is supposed to be the main appeal. Phones already have focus modes and Do Not Disturb to avoid interruptions. I’m not discrediting anyone who finds this useful, but I fail to see the point. You’ll still be interrupted by your phone, and now you’re carrying two devices that do the same thing, without the eye-friendly benefits of the e-ink display.</p>
