Datadog Resource Catalog now supports natural language querying (NLQ), allowing engineers to search across multi-cloud infrastructure using plain English instead of provider-specific query syntax. The catalog covers 1,000+ resource types across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and OCI. NLQ translates plain-text questions into structured queries, handles domain-specific questions like identifying RDS instances on extended support engine versions, and works alongside existing structured search and clickable filters. Saved views enable reuse for recurring workflows like compliance checks or cost reviews.
