As a JavaScript full-stack developer I always learn new things (Frontend, Backend, Mobile, Desktop, Chrome extensions, Scrapping, Cloud deployment etc.) To feel comfortable I need to keep opened in full screen 2 apps at the same time. Simultaneously opened, two full-screen apps give you a big advantage to manage information and absorb new knowledge.

Use 2 monitors for learning and work

I have exact the same setup - laptop + external monitor, for me it’s a boost of productivity, but some of my friends feel more comfortable with one screen (btw I also want to try an ultrawide monitor)

Wow, I’ve been usign two monitors side by side but they’re small and doesn’t tire my neck, but that vertical layout looks different. I will give a try If I can rearrange the monitors here.
