Palantir has secured a $300 million contract with the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) to modernize farm services delivery, beating out competitors including Salesforce and IBM. The deal covers support for the National Farm Security Action Plan, crop insurance, conservation programs, farm safety nets, and disaster programs. Palantir will provide operational software to boost supply chain resilience, protect against fraud and foreign adversary influence, and support the USDA's Landmark platform, which delivered $11 billion in assistance in February. The USDA cited Palantir's unique combination of enterprise-scale data fusion, real-time analytics, compliance monitoring, and integration with existing USDA systems as the reason for the award.
