Upcoming deprecation of GPT-5.2 and GPT-5.2-Codex

GitHub is deprecating GPT-5.2 and GPT-5.2-Codex across all GitHub Copilot experiences on June 1st, 2026. GPT-5.5 is the suggested replacement for GPT-5.2, and GPT-5.3-Codex replaces GPT-5.2-Codex. Copilot Enterprise administrators need to enable access to alternative models via model policies in Copilot settings. No action is required to remove deprecated models after the deprecation date.
