The first thing that caught my eye is that the demo layouts are nearly identical even across wildly different verticals (negating the implied value of design expertise/curation), with some even using the maligned “AI indigo” as a primary color for good measure (negating the stated value of AI bias counterweighting).
Then there’s smaller issues like the stats being buttons even though they have no behavior, so again, this product claims to complement or counteract the blind spots of AI-assisted development while being the poster child for those blind spots, revealing how little the people behind it cared about presenting it competently.
But that’s just garden-variety mediocrity we’ve come to expect from the vibe coding crowd. What intrigued me is that the parent site for the “organization” behind this has the same problems, including a countdown timer frozen at 00:00:00:00 that nobody cared to remove or restart.
So maybe these bugs are actually features and the product is working as intended as a lead magnet for the $30/$60 Discord funnel run by founders whose highlight reel includes “$100K+ ARR across 14+ products” (do the division) and a VIP tier whose perks include one dinner per year and one article promoting your product (they’re selling you a backlink). It filters for people who miss these signs.
Good job on the GitHub SEO, though. You get the social proof of the 15k stars (which seem legitimate since this went viral in Chinese dev communities around NYE), with the real story (told by low watcher count) sitting well beyond the due diligence threshold for the build-in-public crowd this targets. So again, working as designed, just not as claimed.
