Ubuntu has turned to shit years ago. Hell I know people who were using Linux for a few years - Ubuntu, of course, because that’s what media hammered into them - and then switched away to macOS due to shortcomings and annoyances that were solely Canonical’s fault.

People are getting so entitled, I wonder how many of the people who complain are supporting the open-source projects they unapologetically use everyday

Maybe but not for me, development costs tons of time and money. I’m not paying any single cent using it; couldn’t complain.

You get a free OS, never contributed on it perhaps and then you complain. That does not make sense.
