Ubuntu 26.04 'Resolute Raccoon' Snapshot 1 is now available for download, marking the first of five monthly development releases before the stable LTS launch in April 2026. This snapshot contains low-level package updates and tooling changes, with major features like new desktop apps, expanded App Center with DEB/APT management, and Prompting Client for Snaps still to come. Snapshot 2 is scheduled for December 18, 2025.
