A benchmark comparison of AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 (Strix Halo) CPU performance on Linux between Ubuntu 25.04 and Ubuntu 26.04, using the same Framework Desktop hardware. Ubuntu 26.04 ships with Linux 7.0 and GCC 15.2, and the results show measurable CPU performance gains over Ubuntu 25.04 (Linux 6.14, GCC 14.2) from a year ago, complementing previously reported Radeon 8060S graphics improvements.
