The Linux Experiment

Ubuntu 25.04, nicknamed the blocky puffin, offers several new features and improvements. It includes updates from Gnome 48 and Ubuntu-specific changes such as more installation options, visual changes to application icons, and a new default PDF viewer. Additionally, it incorporates Nvidia dynamic boost support and a new geolocation API for better time zone and nightlight handling. The release also features updates to the apt package manager improving translations, dependency solving, and output readability.
