Ubisoft has laid off 105 employees at Red Storm Entertainment, the studio behind Tom Clancy games, as part of its global cost-savings restructuring plan. Red Storm will cease all active game development and transition to a support role providing global IT services and Snowdrop engine support. The cuts are part of a broader wave of Ubisoft layoffs in 2025-2026, which also included closures and reductions at Halifax, Abu Dhabi, and Toronto studios. These actions have prompted strikes by approximately 1,200 workers and union calls for CEO Yves Guillemot's resignation. Ubisoft states it remains committed to the Tom Clancy brand portfolio across its global studio network.
