openSUSE Tumbleweed's March 2026 monthly update covers a wide range of package updates and security fixes. Highlights include three KDE Plasma 6.6 point releases with progressive bugfixes to KWin, Spectacle, and Kicker; KDE Frameworks 6.24.0 with nanosecond-precision timestamps in KIO; Linux kernel progression from 6.19.5 to 6.19.9 with broad hardware and filesystem fixes; Mesa 26.0.2 resolving RDNA 4 visual corruption and a Counter-Strike 2 regression on Intel Arc; and GStreamer 1.28.1 adding speech-to-text transcription and AV1 decoding. Security was a major theme, with dozens of CVEs addressed across FreeRDP, curl, libsoup2, the kernel (ksmbd), Python, bind, ImageMagick, GraphicsMagick, exiv2, QEMU, and many more packages. libxml2 2.15.2 dropped its built-in HTTP client and aligned HTML serialization with HTML5.
