Tryton 8.0 LTS has been released with a wide range of improvements across accounting, e-documents, stock, sales, purchasing, and more. Key highlights include automated reconciliation scheduling, PEPPOL/UBL invoice enhancements with payment means and VATEX codes, new Shopify integrations (gift cards, pickup delivery, payment terms), and five new modules covering check payments, EU excise duties, ethanol production/stock tracking, and sale-to-project-task linking. On the developer side, the PostgreSQL backend has been upgraded to Psycopg 3 with server-side binding, a generic REST API has been added, Python 3.9 support is dropped in favor of Python 3.14, and a new Python library called Naiad provides REST API access. Sessions are now stored as cookies, and the web client no longer requires Bower.
