Mozilla has released the *Fakespot Deepfake Detector* add-on for Firefox, designed to analyze text and identify AI-generated content. It uses the ApolloDFT engine and a set of open-source models, and does not require a signup or app download. The extension works by highlighting text on websites for instant analysis and will later include image and video analysis. It aims to differentiate between AI-generated text and human-written content, though it's not foolproof.
