Why Frontend Masters for Backend Developers?

I watched one of the DevOps courses there, and I got really annoyed. When discussing Kubernetes, the instructor simply said, “Oh, you don’t need Kubernetes most of the time,” and completely skipped the explanation. I get that not every app needs Kubernetes, but why???
In my opinion, that’s a terrible way to teach. Forcing an opinion without any explanation is a horrible way to impart knowledge. It’s basically the same as someone saying, “You don’t need Next.js,” without explaining the complexities or trade-offs that come with it, and why it might be a disadvantage in certain scenarios.
As software engineers, part of our job is to give solid opinions when making technical decisions. Having an opinion without any basis put a dent on your reputation.
Honestly, Frontend Masters’ course quality has been getting worse.
