I can’t really abandon the POSIX standard and zsh+oh-my-zsh is pretty fast for me. I love fish for some features but not being POSIX compliant is a major drawback for me.

What an awesome list. With the exception of Nix. I know it is powerful and provides some amazing benefits, but their documentation and the Nix language is such a huge mess. I guess the functional lang bros will find it easier to love.

I feel compromison between ghostty and alacrity is not quiet apples to apples. alacrity is trying to be bare bones terminal with no bells and whistles, a better comparison would be Kitty I think, not sure what ghostty brings that kitty doesn’t have though.
