Toolbox App 3.4 ships several fixes and new plugin API capabilities. Plugin developers can now register lifecycle hooks for remote IDE launches, enabling pre-launch preparation, post-launch callbacks, and async operations. Notable fixes include: macOS full-screen window disappearing on notched MacBooks, UTF-8/non-ASCII username support on Windows, a file descriptor leak on Linux causing system tray icon loss, hanging connections to remote machines, and TCP keepalive for OpenSSH sessions. The jetbrainsd daemon also gets reliability improvements including auto-exit on disconnect, fixed protocol handler registration, and working jetbrains:// links on WSL.
