Japanese entertainment company Toei has launched Toei Games, an in-house publishing label focused on creating entirely new IPs rather than leveraging existing franchises like Dragon Ball, One Piece, or Digimon. The label will initially release titles on Steam before expanding to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. The first game will be announced on April 24. This move is part of Toei's long-term 'Toei New Wave 2033' strategy to grow its games business into a major pillar alongside film, television, and events.
