Three Decades Of ReactOS

ReactOS, an open-source Windows clone, celebrates its 30th anniversary since the first code commit. The project has evolved into a usable Windows XP replacement capable of running older software, though the experience isn't polished. Future plans include supporting modern hardware and UEFI to maintain relevance. Despite its slow development pace, ReactOS has reached a mature phase where it could serve as a viable alternative for legacy Windows environments, similar to how FreeDOS fills a niche for DOS applications.
