I read through this text, and it seems he viewed this task as a kind of challenge. While the work itself is excellent, there’s no need to take this text seriously. Instead of prohibiting the use of classes, extending global classes is merely a stopgap measure—it strikes me as nothing more than a design akin to walking a tightrope.
