Lazygit is undoubtedly the greatest git tool. And yes it is a TUI app not GUI

I like neogit for its direction and features. But I’ve learned to embrace not having everything as a neovim plugin, things get unstable too quickly especially around the time neovim has a major update and the system’s package managers didn’t catch up yet.
For this reason I decided to use tools like this. Lazygit is amazing. Same for SQL TUI tools. Neovim’s Dbee is a great tool but it’s still not solid, and I don’t want to you dadbod because, though stable, it is not as feature rich AFAIK.

I can’t tell how much I love Lazygit. I got used to it very quickly ever since a friend of mine recommended it. I still feel like I’m scratching its surface, but what I’ve gotten the chance to use out of it has been outstanding.
Hats off to the author of this marvelous tool 100/10 🎉

It’s great, though it’s prone to hanging up if you have long-running git hooks.
