A security researcher analyzes a fake Roblox game duplication tool that turns out to be sophisticated malware. The malicious executable, disguised as a cheat for the popular game Grow-A-Garden, contains an info stealer written in Go that harvests browser data, Discord tokens, and includes keylogging and remote access capabilities. The analysis demonstrates reverse engineering techniques including unpacking UPX-compressed binaries and symbol recovery, while highlighting how gaming cheats are commonly used as malware distribution vectors targeting younger users.
