Ratty is an experimental GPU-rendered terminal emulator written in Rust that integrates the Bevy game engine to enable 3D graphics inside the terminal. Key features include a customizable 3D rat cursor, a 3D mode that lets you view terminal output from different angles, a Mobius strip mode, inline 3D object anchoring via a custom Ratty Graphics Protocol, Kitty Graphics Protocol support for images, a live 2D-to-3D split-pane drawing demo, and an interactive document mode inspired by TempleOS. Installation is available via Cargo, pacman on Arch Linux, or prebuilt binaries. A GPU is required to run it. The project is explicitly experimental and resource-heavy, not intended as a daily driver.
