Sonos is developing a sequel to the Sonos Roam, a portable speaker, called Sonos Roam 2. The design is similar to the original model, with the main difference being the matching color of the 'Sonos' logo. The Roam 2 has two rear buttons, including a dedicated Bluetooth pairing button. It no longer requires an initial setup on home Wi-Fi. The final design does not have a capacitive volume slider. It is expected to be priced similarly to the predecessor and will have the ability to share Bluetooth audio across the whole-home Sonos speaker system.
