‘This is fine’ creator says AI startup stole his art

KC Green, creator of the iconic 'This is fine' meme, says AI startup Artisan used his artwork without permission in a subway ad campaign promoting their AI sales rep product 'Ava.' The ad modified Green's original comic to read 'my pipeline is on fire' and urged people to 'Hire Ava the AI BDR.' Artisan responded only by saying they were reaching out to Green directly. Green, who did not authorize the use, called it theft and said he is exploring legal representation. Artisan has previously drawn controversy with 'Stop hiring humans' billboard campaigns.
