Atitan is developing the splitR, a MagSafe-compatible Bluetooth transceiver that adds Auracast broadcasting and receiving capabilities to iPhones and other devices. The disc-shaped device works with a companion app (connectR) launching summer 2026, enabling users to transmit or receive Auracast broadcasts, create group listening sessions, and interact with streaming platforms. It also supports USB-C and 3.5mm connections for non-Auracast devices. This addresses Apple's lack of native Auracast support, which has limited adoption of the Bluetooth technology despite iOS's 58% North American market share.
