A developer nicknamed PhonicUK built a Wipeout-style 3D racing game running at 60FPS on an ESP32-S3 microcontroller with a 480x320 ST7796 SPI display. The game features procedurally generated tracks, three AI racers with collision avoidance, and working physics. Performance is achieved through a custom dual-core 3D engine using interlaced rendering with two half-height buffers — one CPU core handles drawing while the other manages I/O. Source code has not yet been released.
