As a React developer who started her front-end journey with React, I always heard about all these other and often new frameworks but never understood the need to try them out.
Reading this makes me want to try them to build some stuff and see how much better are they really compared to React, which I have been using non-stop for almost three years now.

I highly recommend reading this article to everyone who is in the React world. It is a great overview of things that can be helpful for shaping your own opinion.
I think the “leap adoption” model presented at the end of the article is pretty accurate and this is why React will be used for I don’t know how long - there are options that are better than React, but being just “better than React” is not enough for the next leap:
