Sounds incredibly dystopian, though I am still a bit skeptical.

Not all sites will die. Only information sites. But that was their future 5 years ago even without AI. What about sites like gmail, maps, gen AI sites, web-based CRMs etc. There are many “Click Internet”. All web apps still rule. But WP will die, I personally will drink a little on that day.
Zero Click Internet is just a vector for the evolution of UI.
