Fun fact is that in 2023 spotify deleted over 10000 tracks made by AI, because these tracks was created to make money on fake music. So looks like Spotify don’t like AI when it’s not their business, but it is okay when it brings money to spotify itself.

I don’t have this problem, maybe it’s a bug in the search engine. In any case, people vote with subscriptions. So, as you can see, there is no good alternative. Youtube music may be close. But it has a more idiotic engine for suggested music. I gave the “five finger death punch” group a hundred thumbs down, but YouTube throws it every sixth. That’s why I left them for Spotify. Amazone Musik has a perfect user interface and an absolutely disgusting suggestion engine and a tiny melody base. You build a radio from one song and instead of analogs you get 68 variants of the same song. So where is the alternative?

Considering canceling Spotify.

That’s a pretty incredible claim. I especially liked the “You need to send people to Sweden. You need to find sources. You need to find out what’s really going on.” line. As if there is a secret back studio where AI music is being made?
Personal experience with ambient or lo-fi playlists hasn’t replicated this, but I didn’t look very long. Most of the artists had Wikipedia pages so unless Spotify is part of some sort of fake media campaign I’m not believing this is a massive coverup.
