Eric tests Hone.gg, a PC optimizer claiming to improve gaming performance by up to 30%. He evaluates it by running Fortnite before and after using the tool. Although Hone.gg does optimize some settings, most improvements come from lowering graphics quality, something free tools like the Nvidia app can also do. Eric finds that Hone.gg is not malware but collects data and shows ads. He concludes that the app is not worth paying for and recommends against using it for significant performance gains.
