The simplest tech stack

This is definitely lighter than the usual React + Next + Zustand + GraphQL setup, and it avoids a lot of JS bloat, but calling it “the simplest” feels a bit stretched. You’re still juggling Bun, Astro, HTMX, Alpine, and Mongo. I’d say it’s more of a leaner or less bloated stack than a truly simple one.

Well the frontend ecosystem it’s been a joke since the dark ages. From raw dogging php + jquery or jsp + backbone.js to edge lords from next.js community.

Simplest techstack is HTMX + Alpine.js + any backed lang. No need for TypeScript, build system. This setup will boost backend dev productivity :-)
